Amazon has made it their mission to make every conceivable version of their echo products possible. This is one of their newest, called the flex. It has an expansion slot on the bottom for motion sensors or lights if you want to use them. If not it functions a normal echo device plugged directly into the outlet.
The speaker isn't amazing but it works well enough if you want to use it for basic home automation tasks.
